Strawberry Jam Tart

  • 1 x jar of strawberry jam 
  • 1 x block of shortcrust pastry
  • Cupcake/pastry tin
  • Cookie cutter/glass (this needs to be larger than the cupcake/pastry hole)

  1. Lightly flour the worktop and roll out the pastry until it is the thickness of a £1 coin 
  2. Using the cookie cutter/glass, cut out 12 lots of pastry and place in the tin 
  3. Fill each pastry casing half way with jam 
  4. Bake at 180C fan assisted for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
