September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, so this month we’re super proud to launch our campaign to Make it to £1 Million for our charity partner, Cancer Fund for Children.
A local charity, Cancer Fund for Children provides services and funding for families, children and young people living with cancer right here in Northern Ireland, and with your help, we hope to reach the £1 million mark for our fundraising with them through our EUROSPAR and VIVOXTRA outlets and staff.
Over the years, we have met some inspirational children and their families who have shared their experiences and stories with us, and who just couldn’t be without the Cancer Fund for Children, so we’re here to tell you their stories and give you that push to get in store and donate to the organisation that helps so many. You can watch wee Maisie May’s story above, as told by her incredible parents, Wendy and Keith.
We also met Miss Sadie and her sister Grace, who were the stars of our photographs with Cancer Fund for Children CEO Gillian Creevy, and our very own Head of Corporate Marketing, Bronagh Luke who didn’t let a bit of rain dampen their spirits during our photo shoot at Belfast Castle. You can read more about Sadie’s story below, as told by her Mum, Pauline.
You can also Meet our Million Pound Makers below; the staff in EUROSPAR and VIVOXTRA supermarkets across Northern Ireland who have been scaling mountains, trekking canyons, hosting coffee mornings, and throwing various parties in store, all in aid of Cancer Fund for Children. There are heroes, as so many of our shoppers are who have helped us almost reach this milestone Million.
You can get involved in our final push to £1 million in fundraising for Cancer Fund for Children by visiting your local EUROSPAR or VIVOXTRA store to donate or by donating online.
