Brussel Sprouts with Maple Syrup and Bacon Lardons

  • 1.5kg Brussel Sprouts
  • 100gms Butter
  • 300gms Bacon Lardons
  • 200gms Maple Syrup
  • Salt and Pepper

Method

 

Prep: Prepare the sprouts and cook in boiling salted water for 6 minutes. When cooked transfer to ice water straight away

Cook: When chilled, cut the sprouts in half.

In a large frying pan add the butter and crispen the bacon. Add the sprouts and warm through, add the syrup at the end and season.
