Croissants made with ready made pastry

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ready roll puff pastry sheet
  • 1 egg (Beaten)
  • 2tbs flour (For surfaces)
  • Icing sugar (for garnish)
  • Nutella or Biscoff Spread (optional filling but very tasty!)

Method

Step One

Pre-heat oven to 180°C.

Step Two

Lightly flour your work surface. Unroll puff pastry sheet into a rectangle, cutting the pastry into rectangles width wise.

Step Three

Place a teaspoon of preferred spread  (if using) at the base of each triangle & roll pastry up to form a crescent.

Step Four

Brush each crescent with beaten egg.

Step Five

Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Dust with icing sugar & serve.
