Bolognese in a Hurry!

Ingredients

  • 200g SPAR enjoy local mince
  • 1 The Greengrocer’s white onion
  • 8 The Greengrocer’s mushrooms
  • 200ml Beef stock
  • 1 Tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato purée
  • 1 tsp Garlic Granules
  • 1 tsp Onion Salt
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 2 Bay leaves

Method

  1. In a pot on a medium heat add a glug of oil, add onion, mince, mushrooms, garlic granules, onion salt, mixed herbs and paprika with a shake salt and pepper. Cook for 8 minutes on a medium heat.
  2. Add the stock, turn heat to high and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato purée and bay leaves, bring to boil then simmer for 15 minutes
  4. Get pasta on whilst you wait – I’ve chosen Spaghetti but your favourite pasta will work a treat.
  5. Remove bay leaves and serve with an optional grating of cheese
